Rich in history, diverse in culture, every terrain you could want, and world famous fishing and seafood.

Hop back on the metro, leave the city and the city buzz, and, before you know it, you're enjoying a countryside vineyard or bed and breakfast. It's peace, it's quiet.

Welcome to the old school, down the ocean, farms to boats to history- and even hot air balloon glows. All the really cool stuff, and plenty of it... "and more". Seriously more.

Beaches, mountains, history, bed & breakfasts- it's all within a half day drive from anywhere in the area.

This... is our memories state. The childhood state. And now, the grown up and let's do this state!!!

Besides the country and the gorgeous rolling hills, big beautiful barns and farms... vineyards, lakes, boating, sports of all kinds, multiple historic towns and national historic registered houses and locations, history, education, workshops, symphony, theatre, and foods of all kinds, including world class dining can be found literally everywhere in the region.

The DC Metro is easy to use and will take you to all the national and DC local "must-sees", if you need to do the tourist stuff. It's always worth it, but take a few days to really do it. There's so much to see- Just the Smithsonian will take anyone with a genuine interest several days to explore. Hop back on the metro, leave the city and the city buzz, and, before you know it, you're enjoying a countryside vineyard or bed and breakfast. It's peace, it's quiet.

Tomorrow is another day. Will you stay in the country for a couple days, then head down the ocean? If you've never been the Ocean City or the Delmarva beaches, you probably don't realize you'll be saying that phrase forever! It's we they talk, hon'. ("Hon being an entirely different story!
