There are numerous well attended, and well loved Hot Air Balloon festivals in Colorado. There's nothing more awesome than rising above the earth and into the skies in a gondola of a hot air balloon! Go for it.

Ah- you know it: "The Stanley Hotel", in Estes Park. Home of The Shining. for those who like explore the supernatural, there's plenty of "ghost" tours to be had.
