The island doesn't feel touristy. It feels more like you live there, or someone you know does. Actually, when I was there, an old friend mentioned his family has a place there. Proves my point. It doesn't feel like the typical tourist trap. It feels real. It's definitely a great choice for any vacation.
Growing up in Maryland, not far from Annapolis and the ocean, I've seen my share of boats. But I've never seen so many high end boat and yachts sleeping together like I saw in St Marten, It's worth a day by the marina just to check them out. There are gorgeous boats everywhere, and plenty of great spots for good food.

Many Sint Maarten guests are generally seeking a little luxury, some pampering, and the niceties of all inclusive resort vacationing.
We did what any good travel experts would do: ee flew to St Marten and tried out some of their spa services ourselves. Yep- they know what they're doing, and they're ready to do that for you, too!

This island is beautiful. Best times to visit are December through April. There's so much beautiful culture, scenic/ photoworthy vistas, hiking, shopping, dining, the water, excellent snorkeling, beaches... the possibilities are endless. And, unlike most any other small island, you can drive to the French side and experience and entirely different cutlure (one heavier in to wine than weed. Be forwarned!)
Include a rental car on this trip- You'll want to explore. You can actually drive the entire perimeter of the island in a few short hours. A coupe of easy day trips are easy and inexpensive. Whether you want to explore the shops or the beaches, they're just a short drive way. PS: they drive on the right on the island.
There's a gorgeous beach on the opposite side of the island that offers all kinds of fun water stuff to do, and excellent food in interesting restaurants. Tip: tour on the weekends and avoid most of the islands traffic, which is almost all work related. The weekends see light traffic on lovely island roads.

We stayed at an all inclusive with a four minute walk to the sand on Maho Beach. Not only was the food good, but they had all the room you could need for events, reunions, and business retreats. We're experienced with groups and with events, and can make your event seamless. It's a great spot.

Many people medicate, but keep their cannabis use discreet and respectful, That's not to say you won't find places where it's use is open and even welcomed, but, as any guest to any foreign country should be, always keep it classy.
